Write Mercedes Benz ME9.7 ECU Without Removing Shell PCB

For a auto repair mechanic,it is necessary to get the skill of restore Benz ECU data from original to a new replacement.In this case,i will take Mercedes Benz W211 as a example.

Note:Don’t forget to make a ECU data file backup.

What You Need?
New Mercedes ME9.7 ECU ECM
Ktag V7.020 / KTM100
Renew cable (Only apply on our ME9.7 ECU)
Or Bundle:ME9.7+KTAG+Renew Cable

Procedures:
Step 1:
Remove the original ME9.7 ECU from vehicle,and disassemble the ECU PCB and soldering wires on PCB to connect KTAG

Step2:
Open KTAG software.
Then I Choose “Mercedes” “S (W221)” and “S350 3500 V6…BOSCH ME9.7”.

Choose plug-in “P102”.

I clicked “Read” and wait for a while.
Then Save the bin file.

Step 3:
Follow below wire diagram to connect KTAG V7.020 ECU programmer to new Mercedes ME9.7 ECU (This renew cable only can use on our ME9.7,).
Run KTAG software to write the ECU data file read out on step 1 into the new Mercedes ME9.7 ECU.

Note:After writing the data file into ME9.7,it no need to perform on-line programming.
