The MTS 6517 is a standard-based tool – supporting the SAE J2534 interface, the ISO 22900-2 Diagnostic-Protocol Data Unit (D-PDU) API and RP1210 API.

More than a Pass-Thru device – Embedded applications
The Bosch MTS 6517 VCI includes an embedded runtime framework which enables the VCI to run embedded applications. This enables a wide range of use cases e.g. drive recorder, parking lot re-flash (standalone reflash), and diagnostic runtime. This is supported by an extended temperature range of -20 to +70 °C, sleep/ wake modes, IP54 protection and 4 GB Micro SD-card to store e.g. drive recorder log files.
Workshop flexibility – Embedded web-server
Embedded web server supports external browser-based display devices via HTML for an extended range of service bay use cases.
Support of 24V systems
With an input voltage of 6-32 V and a 24V diagnostic bus . the MTs 6517 can also be used for 24V systems, e.g. in light and heavy tucks.
