Advanced ECU Coding
XTOOL D8 BT newest automotive diagnostic scanner performs ECU coding and online coding, allow you to access the ECU of a vehicle to customize car settings, reprogram the adaptive data for certain components after replacement to enhance vehicle performance, and also can unfold the hidden features, disable the annoying functions.
Active Test ( BI-Directional Control)
XTOOL D8 BT comes with Bi-Directional Control capability and is capable of performing Active Tests to access vehicle-specific subsystems and component tests. The tester outputs commands to the ECU to drive the actuators in order to determine the integrity of the system or parts by reading the ECU data, or by monitoring the operation of the actuators, like EVAP test, Cylinder Deactivation, Cycling A/C Clutch On/Off, switch fuel injector on/off, cycling ABS motor pump, test car window, door, sunroof, wipers and etc to pinpoint fault locations easily and effectively.
Note: ECU Coding and Active Test don鈥檛 support all car models.
Support CAN FD Protocol
As a newest automotive diagnostic scanner, D8 BT can work on newer CAN FD protocol vehicles (for GM vehicles after 2020).

XTOOL D8 BT with 31+ Kinds of Special Functions (keep update)
1.Oil Reset:Close the oil service light and reset service mileage & service interval after replacing the engine oil.
2.Electronic Parking Brake Reset:Reset the new electronic parking brake for braking wheels safely again.
3.Throttle Relearn: Allows to reset the throttle actuators to accurately regulate throttle (or idle engine) operations, helps keep your idling and acceleration smooth.
4.Tire Pressure Monitor System Reset: Relearn TPMS sensors so that new sensors can be recognized by ECU.
5.ABS Bleeding: Get a firm brake pad after air exhaustion.
6.Key Programming/Immobilizer: Allows to disable a lost vehicle key to protect the vehicle from being stolen and add the new key.
7.DPF Regeneration: Allows to clear PM from the DPF filter through oxidation or combustion to stabilize the filter performance.
8.Injector Coding: Allows to write a new code to the ECU for accurate communication and Injection control. After the ECU or injector is replaced, the cylinder can better identify injectors to accurately control fuel injection.

1.Auto VIN Scan
XTOOL D8 BT diagnostic system features the latest VIN-Based Auto VIN Scan function to identify vehicles and scan all the diagnosable ECUs and run diagnostics on the selected system. This function is compatible with 2006 and newer vehicles.
2.Manual VIN Input:
For vehicles not supporting the Auto VIN Scan function, you may manually enter the vehicle VIN.
3.Automatic Selection:
The Auto VIN Scan can be selected after selecting the test vehicle manufacturer.
4.Manual Selection:
When the vehicle's VIN is not automatically retrievable through the vehicle's ECU, or the specific VIN is unknown, the vehicle can be manually selected.
